Could exclusive games on mobile networks influence a persons decision to buy a contract? I think this question is being answered now and the results are something I am looking forward to seeing in the coming quarters of profits and new customers for various mobile networks. Of course content will always be a deciding factor for most people when they choose a cell phone and a service provider but games could have a huge impact.

Getting songs is something any phone can do even trailers and videos but games that only play on certain phone networks is sure to have a big impact on which new customers decide buying because they are the teenage and youth market and they play video games more than you average Joe who is in his 40s compared to a 16 year getting there first cellular phone.

Should be interesting to see is Microsoft one day releases Halo on a certain network or if Nintendo does the same with its big hit games, like Sony did recently with Verizon Wireless and its blockbuster game Metal Gear Solid which is exculsive to the Verizon customers only.

Well I have been anticipating this new social network with gaming for mobile devices ever since I first heard about it. I read a story that says it is going live yesterday, but I have yet to be able to get in and check it out. I signed up to get an invitation and more information, and I am still eagerly waiting. The main page looks cool, but how are they they going to implement the social network? Will they be using the open ID that nearly everyone else is getting on board with? Inquiring minds want to know!

Nokia’s Ovi

There is talk about an itunes like music section, photo and video collaboration sections, and more. It sounds great, but how will it really play out?

While waiting in line at the airport for nearly two hours, I decided to download some games to my IPhone to pass the time. I decided to go with my favorite publisher EA Games and took a look at what they had to offer, and as it turns out they have a lot of games on the EA Games Mobile website but I went with Medal of Honor Airborne and then switched up and played some Madden NFL 08 both of which played and looked great on my IPhone. Anyways was wondering what everyone else plays to pass the time so maybe when I get bored with these two from EA I can check yours out, so leave your suggestions for great mobile games in the comments.
