So I’ve been considering a theme update here for a long time. I have tried a couple over the years, and browsing through the general wordpress theme database, seeing how many people have downloaded the various themes there makes me want to find something at least a little bit different. It makes me chuckle when I see the same standard theme on a ton of blogs. I know i am guilty as charged with the current theme here, but my perfectionism has led to indecision, which leaves here today.
Anyway, doing some looking around I have found another place to find a wordpress theme. I am considering this iridium theme with a slight change in the photo that’s at the bottom. There are a few other good choices as well. More indecision. Perhaps I will look into what it takes to put a theme changer on the site and let users try different looks. This was I could do a poll and see which theme you all like on the screen best.
There is another theme that I have to consider there as well, the Esthwaite theme has a cool photo of an oriental boat with a great color scheme. Perhaps this one will make my wordpress blog shine. i’m a big fan of blues and greys, and I love a love for most things from the orient, so this theme is my favorite so far. I love the theme technology of wordpess, it makes it so much easier to experiment with various looks, all without having to do a lot of changes to my site.
What do you think I should go with?

I still remember my first post on this blog and how awkward it was to write for the first time for everyone to see online, it was almost scary. So when I read Mrs Ursters very first post on her new blog it brought back memories of my first blog post. Even more I was excited to see that she started a blog so everyone including me could read her great ideas. Darlene wrote a great post in her blog about this company that has invented a way of allowing a person to use a mobile phone in the shower by putting a coating on mobile devices to make them repel water, the coating is called “Ion Mask plasma surface enhancement” and is made by P2I. Being able to use a mobile device in the rain or while in the shower without worry of it breaking is pretty cool and I can see almost endless possibilities for uses of this surface coating technology from laptops to clothes, it should be interesting to see what else they really do apply this coating to in the future.

My friend Selena Jackson sent me a link to this great new Wordpress plug-in called WPhone which creates an option to replace the default admin interface with one designed for your mobile phone and it allows for two different types of mobile admin interface.
Rich: designed for the iPhone / iPod Touch and other phones supporting full Javascript and CSS featuring fancy AJAX and sliding menus
Lite: a lightweight, simple version designed for all other phone types (no Javascript or anything else required)

Google announced Monday, that it is releasing free developer tools for its new operating system code named Android and also announced $10 million in prizes for programmers who create winning applications. After a quick download you can begin writing applications for Android using the open source Linux platform. And although the release of Android on mobile devices is not expected until late 2008 it is sure going to get a lot of attention from now, until then, with the amount of prize money being offered to developers for creating great applications. I am going to give it a try and see just what I can create for my own mobile, I am thinking something that brings together all my friends, from different social networks into one, on my mobile but was wondering what other people wanted on there mobile device, so let me know what application your looking for on your mobile device, and why?
